The Claremont is a handcrafted solid oak record player stand and HiFi cabinet, designed to store vinyl records while housing amplifiers and audio equipment. Built from solid European oak, it functions as a vinyl storage unit and compact media unit for modern listening spaces.
Featuring a dedicated HiFi shelf (also suitable for 7" singles), a rear panel to keep records neatly organised, and solid oak dividers for easy browsing, it’s designed for both practicality and everyday use.
The Claremont is crafted from carefully selected, kiln-dried solid European oak, approximately 25mm thick. This ensures a flat, stable and exceptionally sturdy record player stand, built to support HiFi equipment and vinyl storage for years to come. Smooth to the touch and made to last, it’s designed as a long-term piece of furniture for everyday use. Solid oak offers excellent weight and stability, making it particularly well suited to supporting audio equipment and turntables.
Each unit is finished in Treatex Hard Wax Oil – a blend of natural oils and waxes that enhances the grain of the oak while providing excellent durability. The finish is water and stain resistant, breathable, and will not peel or flake, making it ideal for use as a vinyl storage cabinet or HiFi unit. A range of stain options is also available on request.

Unit depth is 40cm.
Internal shelf heights are 35cm and 20cm. Total height is 77.5cm from floor to top of unit. Legs are 15cm. All dimensions can be changed on request.

The lower estimate allows for "flicking" through your collection, while the higher estimate assumes a snug fit for long-term storage.

Quick Tips for Accurate Planning
- The "Gatefold" Factor: If your collection has many double LPs or thick gatefold covers, reduce these estimates by about 20%.
- Plastic Sleeves: Using outer sleeves adds approximately 1mm to 1.5mm per record. For a 100cm shelf, this can "cost" you space for about 10–15 records.
How long does delivery take for this record player stand?
Standard lead time is around 4 weeks. This can however increase during busier periods.

Is the unit strong enough for heavy records and HiFi equipment?
Yes, absolutely. The oak we use is incredibly strong and we have a wealth of experience building specialised Hifi and vinyl units. The joinery used ensures the unit is completely rigid, giving your turntable a stable platform.
Can I use this as a TV stand or media unit?
Yes, it can work as a media unit for smaller setups. While it’s designed primarily for HiFi equipment and vinyl storage, it makes a fantastic TV stand or AV media unit with plenty of space below for streaming devices.
