Solid Walnut HiFi Cabinet & Record Player Stand
Crafted from solid American black walnut, the Ashton combines the function of a HiFi cabinet with the form of a refined piece of furniture. The natural density and weight of walnut provide a stable base for turntables and audio equipment, while its rich tone and grain bring warmth and character to a listening space.
Designed for HiFi Equipment & Turntables
The Ashton is designed with audio equipment in mind, offering a dedicated shelf for amplifiers and components alongside practical vinyl storage. The top provides approximately 45cm of depth, suitable for the vast majority of turntables, while the internal shelf offers around 43cm for HiFi equipment, cabling and airflow.
The layout allows for easy access and a clean setup, making it well suited to modern HiFi systems and everyday listening.
Purpose-Built Vinyl Record & LP Storage
A structured layout with dowel dividers keeps records upright, organised and easy to browse. The offset back panels position vinyl closer to the front of the unit, improving accessibility while maintaining a clean appearance.
With approximately 34cm of usable depth for records, the Ashton is designed to accommodate standard 12" vinyl and LPs while making the most of the available space.

Quick Tips for Accurate Planning
• The "Gatefold" Factor: If your collection has many double LPs or thick gatefold covers, reduce these estimates by about 20%.
• Plastic Sleeves: Using outer sleeves adds approximately 1mm to 1.5mm per record. For a 100cm shelf, this can “cost” you space for around 10–15 records.
How long does delivery take for this record player stand?
Standard lead time is around 4 weeks. This can however increase during busier periods.
All of our media units are hand made to order and once your build is complete, we'll contact you via email to arrange a suitable day for delivery.
Is the unit strong enough for heavy records and HiFi equipment?
Yes, absolutely. The solid walnut we use is incredibly strong and provides a stable base for both vinyl records and HiFi equipment. Combined with carefully considered joinery, the unit is completely rigid, giving your turntable a dependable and vibration-resistant platform.
Will it fit my turntable and HiFi equipment?
Yes. The top surface provides approximately 45cm of depth, which is suitable for the vast majority of turntables, including larger models. The HiFi shelf offers around 43cm of internal depth, allowing space for amplifiers, cabling and airflow.
Why are the back panels offset?
The back panels are offset to optimise both vinyl storage and HiFi use. Records sit closer to the front of the unit for easier browsing, while the rear section provides additional depth for amplifiers and audio equipment. This allows for approximately 34cm of usable depth for vinyl and 43cm within the HiFi shelf. As these are made to order, all dimensions can be changed on request.
